Day of the Dead Toys
There are a variety of toys such as painted clay skeletons figures, which portray the dead resuming their normal activities such as playing cards, that one can purchase and put on the ofrenda. Pull toys and crank boxes with similar death imagery are given to children to introduce them to the idea of death in an atmosphere of joyful celebration.
